Reliability and Economic Efficiency Analysis of 4-Leg Inverter Compared with 3-Leg Inverters

نویسندگان

چکیده

The 4-leg inverter can adjust the load current or output voltage even under unbalanced conditions, but it is known that additional switch arm to 3-leg increase overall cost and failure rate. This paper aims analyze rate mean time between failures (MTBF) of inverters using part count analysis (PCA) fault-tree (FTA), compare price inverters. FTA rate, including type, number connection status circuit components, moreover redundancy effect inverter. For more accurate failure-rate prediction, MTBF according lifecycle controller are analyzed. Finally, by comparing model major parts, degree reliability improvement against quantitatively

Design and Implementation of Single Leg Dual Output Inverter

In this paper, two single phase ac loads are supplied with one inverter and reduced switch count topologies are introduced in this paper. It has three switch single leg structures. This single leg inverter is functionally comparable to half bridge inverter working independently though with a less number of semiconductor switch and hence control and gate drive circuit components. This three swit...

Cross-Leg Flap: Its Reliability and Outcome

Background: Cross-leg flaps for lower limb wound coverage have been replaced by free tissue transfer in the last two decades. However, there are certain difficult situations where the free flap cannot be employed and alternative methods are needed. We describe our experience with cross-leg flap in 135 patients for the reconstruction of difficult leg defects in which no possible other options av...

Modulation Techniques for Three-Phase Four-Leg Inverters

Three-phase four-leg inverters are typically employed to supply unbalanced loads avoiding the use of a transformer. Usually, the inverter control is performed by modulation techniques, such as the threedimensional one, requiring complex mathematical algorithms. The paper suggests a different approach, based on the separation of the control of the fourth leg from that of the other phases, allowi...

Restless Leg Syndrome in Diabetics Compared with Normal Controls

Introduction. Restless leg syndrome (RLS) is a common sleep disorder which is characterized by urge to move the legs accompanied by disturbing and uncomfortable leg sensation during night and rest. This common condition affects 7-10% of general population and is frequently unrecognized, misdiagnosed, and poorly managed. Several clinical conditions like diabetes have been associated with seconda...

Gait efficiency using the C-Leg.

Microprocessor-controlled prosthetic knees are claimed to improve gait efficiency in transfemoral (TF) amputees. This hypothesis was tested in a prospective randomized crossover trial that compared the Mauch SNS knee and the C-Leg microprocessor-controlled knee in eight TF amputees. The subjects were given a 3-month acclimation period in each knee. Then, their net oxygen cost (mL/kg/m) was meas...
